Grace E. (née Lazzaro) Fazio, of Plainfield, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022 with her loving family by her side. Survived by her children Michael (Louise), Anthony, Christopher, Mary (Deming Payne), Stephen, Vincent (Katie) and Paul (Rocio); grandchildren Vincent, Renee and Natale Fazio, Deming, Sara and Mimi Payne, Colleen, Cara and Joseph Fazio, Valentina Fazio; five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Lazzaro; her husband of 56 years, Anthony Fazio; grandson, Dominic Fazio; siblings, Congetta (Lawrence) Wicevic, Russell (Marjel) Lazzaro and Joseph (Connie) Lazzaro.
She was a longtime member of St Mary Immaculate Church.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home, 1500 Black Road, Joliet, IL 60435. Relatives and friends will meet on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at St. Mary Immaculate Church - 15629 Illinois Rte 59, Plainfield, IL 60544 where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m.
Grace will be laid to rest beside her late husband at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Joliet.
