Jean R. Dziuba (Née Pierchala)

Age 83 of Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 11, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.

Born November 24, 1936 in Chicago, IL, Jean was a daughter of Antoni and Victoria (Née Dzik) Pierchala.

Jean retired as a caregiver after 20 years of dedicated service.

She was a devoted member of St. Linus Catholic Church having served as a Eucharistic Minister and a second grade catechist for many first communion classes.

In Jean’s free time, she loved playing bingo, watching games shows, movie comedies and polka music.

She was a wonderful mother, Nana, grandma and great-grandma. She will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her children, David (Jodie) Dziuba, Carol (David) Bernier, John (Ann) Dziuba and Michael Dziuba, grandchildren; Joseph and Sofia Dziuba, Kelly Evans, Renee (Jeremy) Hunt, David Bernier (April Butler), Jenna (Christopher) Kennedy, Samuel Dziuba, Spencer Dziuba, Mary Dziuba, great-grandchildren; Denton Martinez, Ella Hiler, Noelle, Ty, and Alexis Hunt, Olivia and Jonathan Kennedy, numerous nieces and nephews and her canine companion, Kato.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 16 years; Stanley J. Dziuba (1972), parents; Antoni and Victoria Pierchala, siblings; Adele (late Ted) Sierzega, Ed Pierchala, Walter Pierchala, and Patricia Kraft.

Per Jean’s wishes, cremation rites were accorded.

Private services were held and Jean was laid to rest by her husband’s side in Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL.
