Lawrence P. Kijowski

Age 71 of Joliet, IL, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2024 at All American Village & Nursing Facility.

Born March 9, 1953 in Joliet, Lawrence was a son of Andrew and Justine (Née Benco) Kijowski. He was raised in the Joliet area and graduated from SS. Cyril & Methodius School (Class of 1967) and Joliet Township High School (Class of 1971).  

Lawrence was a proud member of the United States Air Force, having attained the rank of Sergeant while working as a biomedical equipment specialist and an electrical technician. He was honorably discharged in 1978.

In his free time, Lawrence enjoyed working with all types of electronic devices from fixing radios to cell phones.

Survivors include his siblings, Eleanore (the late Stan) Steffens and Edward (Carol) Kijowski; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Justine Kijowski and brother, Robert (Donna) Kijowski.   

Per the family’s wishes, private services were held.
