Stephanie M. Larkin

Age of 43, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Ascension St. Joseph Medical Center. 

Born July 5, 1981, in Newport Beach, California, Stephanie was the daughter of Steven and Cynthia M. (Née Balstrode) Geiger. 

 She attended St. Jude Catholic School, Joliet, Minooka Community High School and graduated from Joliet Township West High School (Class of 1999).

Stephanie loved playing basketball throughout her school years and enjoyed working out at the gym. She was a caring and devoted mom, daughter and granddaughter, and will truly be missed.

Survivors include her loving daughter, Emma Marie Larkin; devoted mother, Cynthia M. Geiger; dedicated grandparents, Chuck and Lorraine (Strysik) Balstrode; aunts, Patti (Tom) O’Connor and Vicki Balstrode; uncle, Chuck Balstrode, Jr, cousin, Tommy O’Connor; and special friend, Kelly Greer. 

Stephanie was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Larkin; father, Steven Geiger and grandparents, Frank and Mary Geiger. 

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family on Friday, March 14, 2025 – 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Apostles Catholic Church, 18 Woodlawn Avenue, Joliet, for a Mass of Christian Burial, Rev. Michael Lane, officiating.
