Todd M. Scott

Age 79 of Joliet, IL passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 28, 2023.

Born June 20, 1944 in Chicago, IL, Todd was the son of Robert and Adele (née Smietanka) Scott. He was raised in Riverdale and Lemont. He graduated from Lockport High School in 1961 and received his associate's degree from Joliet Junior College. He worked at Apollo Colors in Rockdale in the maintenance department and retired after 35 years of dedicated service.

Todd was well known as an animal lover to his family and neighbors. He lived for handing out treats to the neighborhood pets and doting on his pet, Sadie.  He was always proud of his daughters and their families, and he would do anything for "his girls."

Survivors include his loving and devoted daughters, Terri (Quentin) Dudeck and Stacy (Jim) Leaver; special granddaughters, Cassidy Corzine and Maya Leaver; siblings, Melvin A. (Kathy) Scott and Darrell J. Scott (Paul Gibson); nephews, Justin Scott and Tim (Rhiannon) Scott and his beloved dog, Sadie.

Todd was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Adele Scott.

A visitation will be held on Monday, July 3, 2023 between the hours of 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Todd’s life, at Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home, 1500 Black Road, Joliet, IL 60435.

Cremation Rites will follow the services.
